Heal the Adrenals Morning Smoothie

This is a wonderful drink to clear out the morning fog, boost your adrenal function, and fill your body with fibrous nutrition to start your day. I have it everyday mid morning. The combination of lime, ginger and cucumber make it delightfully refreshing.

If you’re adrenals aren’t working properly than you can bet your entire body is not only off kilter, but headed for a health crisis. This important gland produces the hormones that make us feel good, and without them working as they should, we will be more apt to reach for caffeine and other drugs just to function throughout the day, leading us to greater and greater dis-ease. It’s so important to give these mighty little glands our love and attention.

I know there are a lot of ingredients listed, but if you don’t have them all, no worries. Just put in what you have. The most important are the greens, avocado, ginger, and protein powder. The oils and the stevia just make it taste delicious.

2 Stalk Celery (great natural source of sodium to recharge your adrenals)
1/2 C. Spinach and/or 1 T. mixed sprouts
2 Romaine Lettuce Leaves (excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin K, folate, fiber, and vitamin C)
2 inch Chunk of Cucumber
½ Squeezed Lime Juice
½ Avocado
1 Drop Lime and/or Lemon Essential Oil
¼ tsp Organic Green Stevia Powder (better option: regulates blood sugar)
4-6 drops of Liquid Organic Stevia (add more if you like it more sweet)
½ Sour Green Apple
¼ Cup Coconut Kefir Water (see recipe below) or Water
1 scoop Your Favorite Vanilla Protein Powder
4 Ice Cubes
¼ inch chunk of fresh Ginger (thick-ish slice)
1/4 tsp Vit C. Powder
More Optional ingredients: 1 tsp Spirilina (from Hawaii)

Directions:

Blend ingredients in a high speed blender and enjoy!Add Water if you want it less thick.
