This is such a refreshing treat to have on super hot summer afternoons. The added flavored Omega-3 Oils not only add a delicious rich taste, but wonderful brain-boosting qualities. I also like to add the coconut kefir water as it cuts the sugar and gives your inner bacterial-garden a good feeding. It also works great with nectarines instead of mangoes.

If you do not have the coconut kefir water, see my classes page or try adding a different pro-biotics like a powdered mix, a high quality milk kefir or coconut yogurt/kefir.

1 C. Frozen Mango Pieces
1/3 C. Coconut Kefir Water
1 T. Water
1/4 inch Slice of Lime (leave on some of the rind)
1 T. Barlean’s Orange Cream Total Omega Swirl (packed with fish oils)
A Few Mint Leaves, optional
1 Small Nectarine, chopped, optional

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients in your high speed blender.
  2. You will need to use your plunger to get the frozen mango pieces to blend well.
  3. Add more water if needed. I like to blend in some of the lime rind as your good bacteria love it and it goes wonderfully well with the mango flavor.
