This is a wonderful drink to incorporate into your winter wellness routine. It’s anti-inflammatory properties work wonders to ward off infections and help existing ones heal. I’ve added Turmeric, which is also one of the most powerful spices to boost immune function, and prevent inflammation.

1 tsp of Blended, Peeled Ginger (blend chunks in blender and store in freezer or frig) Or 2 Drops Ginger Essential Oil
2 Drops Stevia or 1-2 tsp Raw Organic Honey (dark honey is best)
¼ tsp of Turmeric
1 Sprig Fresh Mint, optional
1 Mint Tea Bag, Optional (adds more flavor)
Pinch of Cayenne, Optional. Good for when you are feeling cold symptoms coming on

  1. If you don’t have Ginger Essential Oil, you can peel your Ginger and then place the chunks in your vitamix with enough water to have blend into a thick juice.
  2. Strain the fibers from the juice.
  3. Then store that juice in the frig or freezer, depending on how much you need for the week. It will last up to 7 days in the frig. I like to freeze into small containers so that I have it fresh when I need it. It’s great to use in all kinds of recipes.
  4. Mix above ingredients in 1 ½ Cups hot water and steep for at least 30 seconds. Sip and feel yourself healing inflammation while boosting your immune system!Also a wonderful remedy for nausea.
