Super Berry Sorbet
We’ve all heard about the wonders of making delicious smoothies packed with super nutrients, but even more refreshing is a thick, and creamy dose of Super Sorbet. For starters, it feels more like a meal than a big thick drink. And, when you sit down with a bowl and spoon it’s easier to savor and enjoy as a delicious and nutritious treat…especially on these hot summer days.
I’ve listed below one of my favorite recipes, but feel free to get creative. Feel free to substitute with your favorite ingredients.
As for your blender, I highly recommend the Vitamix or Blendtec. I know the price for either seems expensive for an appliance, but the bounty of recipes that become available, will change the way you eat forever. Soups, sorbets, smoothies, and salad dressings, will never taste the same, and they will blend into super smooth concoctions that will nurture and heal your body. These high speed blenders make staying healthy a balmy breeeeze.
2 tsp. Vanilla Protein Powder (I like Tera’s Vanilla Goat Whey)

14 C. Coconut Kefir Water
1/4 C. Coconut Kefir Water
6 Drops Ocean’s Alive Phytoplankton, Optional
1 T. Chia Seed mixed in or sprinkled on top for crunch
1 T. Pomegranate Seeds, optional to sprinkle on top
Blend ingredients together on low speed, then work your way up to medium/high until blended. You will need to use the plunger to push the ingredients into the blades. Sprinkle with berries, chia seed or bee pollen and serve. Enjoy! Makes 1-2 servings.
